    A- The answer is seeds. Our hemp mulch is carefully processed BEFORE the plant flowers and produces seeds. Other mulch and straw can’t make a seed free claim honestly, we can.

    A- Yes, absolutely! Our USA grown and processed hemp mulch is 100% natural and chemical free! In fact, our cats just love bedding up in their hemp beds ♥️ and have done it for a long time now.

    A- Yes! It breaks down naturally over time while improving soil quality.

  • Q- How much should I order?

    A- Great question! Our 25lb compressed bag will cover approx. 55 square feet at 1 inch thick. We can mulch 3 of our 6ft. x 3ft. garden beds with one bag.

  • Q- How deep or thick should I lay my hemp mulch?

    A- We have experimented with this over the last few years and encourage you to do the same.

    What works best for us (in hot Southeast Texas) is to lay it down ¾ to 1” thick. Unlike straw and other mulches, more is not better.

    Hemp mulch is extremely efficient and just lightly, but completely covering the soil is a good start.
